Our caregivers are trained specifically to provide in-home care. They have successfully passed extensive background checks and are insured, bonded, and trained in CPR and First Aid. Assisting Hands® will help you select the best match from our pre-screened group of available assistants, and can generally have qualified help placed in your home within 48 hours or less from the initial call.
Before being selected as an Assisting Hands Home Care caregiver, each person must go through a series of interviews starting with a telephone pre-screening. Once they they have passed the initial telephone interview, they are scheduled for a detailed one-on-one, face-to-face interview with a business owner and our Lead Care Coordinator. The final test is meeting and training with our nurse whole issues a written and skills test to each candidate. Only then can they become a member of the Assisting Hands Home Care team. This is an on-boarding process that has been in place since the inception of the business and continues as the minimum standard.
