Teresa Youngstrom is a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping people. With nearly thirty years of nursing experience as an RN, she has worked extensively in home nursing, emergency medicine, hospice care as well as administration as the Director of Nursing for a prominent Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. At Assisting Hands, Teresa is responsible to oversee all of the care provided by Assisting Hands. In this capacity, she meets with families, assesses their needs and routinely visits with them so that Assisting Hands provides the best client experience possible.
Lori Trainor, LPN, Care Management Director

Lori has over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her career has been devoted to caring for the elderly and she has held positions as an Assisted Living Director, Skilled Nurse and Care Coordinator. As the Care Management Director with Assisting Hands, Lori works closely with clients and families to develop a trust based relationships. This enables her to establish effective care plans and guide the Assisting Hands team of caregivers to deliver outstanding service.
Lori’s years of elder care experience allows her to understand the complexity of issues related to aging and illness. Her care, concern and desire to help others is readily apparent in all she do
Mary Sue Verhagen RN, Continuous Improvement Leader
Continuous Improvement Leader
Mary Sue Verhagen has been a Registered Nurse since 1980, with experience in med-surg, medical intensive care and home care. Her background as a registered nurse along with her personal life experience raising five children and caring for her parents has strengthened her desire and ability to care for others. Her responsibilities in Continuous goal as Continuous Improvement Leader is to use her experience to connect with and support fellow caregivers and clients of Assisting Hands.
Greg Kling
President
Greg is our President and Owner of Assisting Hands in Cincinnati. Greg brings over 20 years of professional business management and client service experience working for leading companies such as Nestle, Owens Corning and Deloitte Consulting. Greg served as a Partner with Deloitte and was responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and delivery of large international business improvement projects for multi-national companies. This afforded him the opportunity to live in Japan for four years with his family. These experiences provide Greg with the management expertise to build the best team to serve the needs of our clients in Cincinnati.
Greg is motivated by his faith and compassion to serve the community and the elderly. He has served as a board member of Talbert House, Board President of Woodland Lakes Christian Camp and volunteer at Cincinnati Works. His experience in helping his wife Kim with the care or her mother was the inspiration for Assisting Hands in Cincinnati.
Greg’s interests include backpacking, skiing, biking, piano and traveling with his family.
Kim Kling
Vice President, Care Coordination
Kim is Vice President and Co-Owner of Assisting Hands Cincinnati. Kim’s background includes working as a hair salon professional at Mitchell’s Hair Salon & Day Spa, a retail manager and raising three children, Sarah, Megan and Sean with her husband Greg. Kim has also served the community as Fund Raising Chairman for the local Parent Teachers Association raising over $100,000, volunteer for Quilts of Compassion, providing quilts to hospital patients and elderly within their homes and various volunteer roles within her church.
Kim’s focus is working with care givers to provide the best experience possible for our clients. She is inspired by her experience with her Grandmother and Mother providing both of them with care during their aging years and dealing with significant medical problems. These experiences provide her with the empathy to understand the emotions that you may be feeling in caring for a loved one and the multitude of decisions that will need to be made.
Kim’s interests include Sewing, reading, traveling and skiing.
