Our Caregivers
Our caregivers are trained specifically to provide in-home care. They have successfully passed extensive background checks and are insured, bonded, and trained in CPR and First Aid.
Assisting Hands® will help you select the best match from our pre-screened group of available assistants, and can generally have qualified help placed in your home within 48 hours or less from the initial call.

Sylvia
Sylvia managed a HUD Senior Care facility with 130 residents providing a feeling of happiness and belonging. She is bilingual in English and Spanish with a background in natural diet and massage therapy. She is always smiling and making people feel comfortable.
Nancy
Having graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Nancy served for years in hospitals throughout California. She is a registered nurse who enjoys working with the elderly and disabled in their homes providing non-medical caregiving. She is certified in life support and poison information.
Alan
Alan is an experienced caregiver with excellent references from previous clients. He is noted for his exceptional cooking skills, having trained at Cordon Bleu.
Cathy
Cathy sold medical equipment in New York. Later she taught dance and built her own dance studio to include 200 students until she left to become a caregiver.
Anne
Anne was a substitute teacher in San Diego before obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a certification in Palliative Care providing comfort and care for the suffering. She enjoys non-medical in-home caregiving on a part time basis while pursuing her nursing career.
Laura
Laura is a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aid. She has worked in home health care since 1978.
