    • Adler Aphasia Center– Aphasia is a language disorder that impairs the expression and understanding of spoken language, reading and writing. These groups, facilitated by licensed speech therapists, meet twice a month to allow participants to practice their communication skills and make social connections.     • A Free Food Market is available in Trenton to anyone struggling to meet their family’s basic needs. No registration or ID needed. Just come to CURE Arena in Trenton on Dec 4 or Dec 18 from 12-2 p.m. to pick up free produce.

    • Mom’s Meals offers home-delivered meals nationwide tailored to meet the needs of common medical conditions, like diabetes, kidney problems, cancer and heart disease. The Long Term Services and Support/Home and Community Based Services Program provides refrigerated, home-delivered meals to the elderly, disabled, and individuals in poor health, who are eligible for economic assistance through Medicaid Waiver or other government-funded nutrition programs. A post-discharge care program is also available.

The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter encourages you to become educated and empowered to understand and improve your brain health by attending one or more of our chapter’s March education offerings.
