All Aboard! This is the familiar sound of the train conductor as seen on television shows that are representative of trains long ago. The billowing smoke from the engines indicated that the train is ready to move. Many older adults remember the trains from simpler times. Tickets were taken at the train door as women held umbrellas over their heads to prevent the smoke and soot from getting into the hair. The men and women were always dressed stylishly as they boarded the train. Many people today never had the opportunity to see trains like that, but now they can at the Boca Express Train Museum.

The plight of the Historical Society

The Boca Express Train Museum has been put up for sale by the Historical Society. They are having difficulty affording the maintenance of the Museum because the non profit is being drained. It only means that the new owner will keep it properly maintained, and it will still provide positive insights into the history of the railroad.
