Receiving the news that a loved one has a terminal illness, or limited life expectancy, is difficult. In order to help you through this emotional time, we offer compassionate hospice care services here at Assisting Hands.
Our services can be part-time or full-time and are customized to fit your loved one’s needs.
Overall, our goal is to help your loved one with day-to-day activities so that they can live out the remainder of their days in dignity.
We also offer a steady hand for families who may have trouble scheduling end-of-life affairs. We are proud to offer these services to families in need in Elk Grove Village, IL, and surrounding areas.
More on End-of-Life Care
As we mentioned above, our hospice care services are designed to provide assistance to people with limited life expectancies or terminal illnesses, as well as their family members.
We allow your loved one to remain in the comfort of home in their final days as opposed to a nursing home or assisted living facility.
Our caregivers focus on delivering a comfortable and pain-free experience while providing personalized care. Through daily medication reminders, meal preparation, housekeeping services, and more, we make sure your loved one is taken care of.
Specially Trained Caregivers
Our Assisting Hands caregivers are dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized caregiving services to your loved one. They are all specifically trained to provide end-of-life care and are CPR and first-aid certified.
We are careful to ensure that our caregivers adhere to our belief that patience and compassion are just as important as services provided. At the end of the day, we go to great lengths to make sure your loved one in need, and other family members, are as comfortable as possible throughout this difficult time.
Compassionate Hospice Care at Home
Trust and relationship building are paramount when it comes to hospice care. When you choose to utilize our personalized services, we will work with you to create an optimal care plan and deliver exceptional results. While we cannot provide medical services (such as administering shots), we can assist in essentially all other capacities. This includes:
- Light housekeeping (e.g. vacuuming, sweeping, doing laundry, dusting, cleaning dishes, etc.)
- Assistance with maintaining personal hygiene (including using the restroom, bathing, and getting dressed)
- Medication reminders
- Daily meal preparation
- Transportation services
- Compassionate, one-on-one care
If you have a loved one who is reaching the end of their days, or who was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness, we encourage you to give our Assisting Hands representatives a call. We will help you, your family members, and your loved one in need through this difficult process. If your loved one has long term care insurance, we do accept that to help cover the cost of care.
