In the United States, there is a growing trend of senior citizens getting some sort of personalized in-home care service.
By getting such services, people in need are guaranteed to receive necessary care while maintaining the independence they are used to. Furthermore, they get to remain at home in an environment that is both familiar and comfortable to them.
However, some individuals need more care and supervision compared to others.
24-Hour versus Live-In Care — What’s the Difference?
The main difference between our 24-hour care services and our live-in care services is how much attentiveness we provide clients.
With the live-in care service, a caregiver will live at a client’s home, rotating with another caregiver on a 3- to 4-day basis.
With the 24-hour care service, a new caregiver comes to a client’s home every 12 hours, ensuring an attentive caregiver at all times. As such, if help is needed during the nighttime, the caregiver can help.
With this service, the caregiver won’t need a place to sleep.
The 24-hour care service is ideal for individuals whose medical condition necessitates constant supervision. Our caregivers are unable to provide medical help but are able to get emergency services to the home immediately.

Unique Plan for You or a Loved One
We will meet with clients and their family members to determine what services are needed and use that information to create a proper care plan. We then use the care plan to provide quality care and assistance.
At Assisting Hands, we can provide our care services on either a short-term basis or on a long-term basis depending on one’s needs. The daily rate charged for such services is dependent upon the assistance and tasks our caregivers are needed to perform for clients.
Around-the-Clock Home Care from Experienced Caregivers
Assisting Hands is a licensed provider of non-medical home care services that employs caregivers who are well experienced and trained in first aid, CPR, and various caregiving services.
In addition, our caregivers are required to take extra classes during the year in order to stay updated on all of the latest in the home care industry.
We also have caregivers who are bilingual, so if there’s a client who isn’t an English speaker, we can match him/her to a caregiver that speaks his/her language.
