When a family learns that a loved one has been diagnosed with a terminal illness or limited life expectancy, it’s startling. The news can be tough to come to terms with. Families will need to handle end-of-life affairs, but this can make it difficult to provide their loved ones with the care they need.
Ideally, a plan will already be set and created that addresses the family member’s end-of-life affairs, including the care they will get. However, sometimes these diagnoses happen suddenly, so there’s no plan in place.
