Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are personal care activities that are essential for people to be able to do to live a truly independent life. Our caregivers will assist your loved ones with ADLs such as personal hygiene like bathing or brushing their teeth, dressing, restroom use, eating, and moving around the home.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) are activities beyond personal care that one must do to live independently at home. Your loved one’s ability to handle IADLs such as housekeeping, taking medication, preparing meals, and providing their own transportation can determine whether they can live in their home. Our caregivers will assist your loved ones with their IADLs to ensure their comfort and safety.
