The Assisting Hands Communication Difference
I like the quality of the assistance they provide. They’re very good with communication. They were very quick to reach out when I had a question. That was great. They established good rapport with my mother. That was really valuable to her. They’ve stayed in touch, were communicative, and responsive. Several of the caregivers were very chatty, which is great for my mother. They were able to be her friends.Elizabeth K.
They have been very responsive in the communication. They just keep her company and they take her to appointments. She is very personable…and is very friendly and easy to be with.Mary L.
“Our family would like to thank Assisting Hands and their team for their care, comfort and support of our father. Special thanks to Esther for her compassion during his final hours and to Camille for all her support, guidance and expertise. To all his caregivers — Teckla, Jerusha, Sandrah, Mai, Cathy, Bridget and Cynthia for helping make his end of life comfortable and full of joy with country music and talking about his horses. Thank you!”

“We are so fortunate to have our caregiver. She has made such a positive impact on our lives and especially for my mother… What sets her apart is her positive attitude and she takes the initiative and has made everything so much easier. My mother is happier and has improved dramatically since she has been with us. She gets it done and is fun and engaging. We love her!”

Why Our Clients Love Us
At Assisting Hands Home Care, our focus is to ensure all of our clients have the highest quality, personalized care and are able to achieve the goal to live their retirement years where they want to, or the ability to Age in Place. Our goal is that each of our clients continue Thriving at Home while maintaining independence and happiness where they call home. Below is the story of Sandy and her caregiver Norah. Just like we did with Sandy, we strive to find the perfect caregiver for each client on an individual level so our clients can not only be cared for properly, but have someone in their life who they care for as well.
The support from Assisting Hands helps prevent unneeded trips to the hospital by:
- Providing smooth transitions home from hospitals or rehabilitation facilities after surgeries
- Ensuring clear, prompt communication to families and other health care providers – through real-time access to our care notes, and our Care Advocate updates
- Helping families care for their loved ones while minding all of the details on causes for admissions to hospitals, and having caregivers specifically matched to our clients particular needs.
