After a great turnout at the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital for the dementia simulation tour, the event was a big success as the medical students all posed for a great picture!
About the Event
The goal of the dementia simulation tour, hosted by Assisting Hands Home Care’s Marketing Director Valentino Matlock, was to demonstrate the challenges of those living with dementia. The 10 minute tour was both entertaining and informative as the participants asked questions and enjoyed some refreshments. 1 CEU credit was also provided for those looking to fulfill their educational requirements.
Valentino Matlock, also dementia generalist, noted that “it was a pleasure pleasure teaching Advocate Lutheran General Hospital med students about dementia through the dementia simulation tour program!”
