Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Self-care activities, or Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), are those that must be completed by one’s self in order to live independently. These can include bathing, eating, transferring, dressing, and personal hygiene activities. If you have a senior loved one who is not able to complete these tasks by themselves, our caregivers can help.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) are tasks that are necessary for one to live by themselves. How well your loved one can live independently is measured by how well they can manage these activities. If they are unable to complete these activities themselves, we can help them, including assisting with transportation, medication reminders, housekeeping, meal preparation, and more.
