I was just about ready to give up on an unusual “personal care” situation when I was referred to “Assisting Hands Home Care”. My husband was required to be in a rigid knee immobilizer for several weeks post knee surgery. I could not physically get him in and out of the back seat of our car without risking injury to one or both of us. The owner of this agency, Tim Bowdish, listened to my transportation dilemma and was willing to assist by coming over 3 times per week to transition him into and out of the back seat of our car – the only way he would fit without bending his knee.
