Coronavirus / COVID-19

We are certainly living in uncertain times to say the least as the coronavirus situation in the U.S. is becoming worse. Senior citizens are among the most vulnerable to the severe symptoms of coronavirus which is why our professionals at Assisting Hands Home Care are monitoring the coronavirus situation very carefully. We have been keeping track of updates coming from institutions including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as local and federal health authorities to ensure we are taking the steps we need to protect our clients and caregivers.
As of now, all of our caregivers must undergo specific training for COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease and be ready to help those who may be infected. We will also adjust our care services accordingly to ensure that you and your loved ones will continue to get the care and assistance they need at home.
What We Do

At Assisting Hands Home Care, we understand that completing everyday tasks and living on your own can become challenging as you age. We provide personal care and companionship to adults with limitations and seniors who need home care, including those with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease. We offer a helping hand by providing hospice care, post-hospitalization care, live-in and 24/7 home care services.

Who We Are

Our owner, Robbie McCullough, and the Assisting Hands team understand that life’s natural events can make living independently at home more difficult and aim to provide companionship and home health care to our clients. Our mission is to offer our clients the very finest personalized non-medical care and allow them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Alzheimer's and Dementia Care

Senior citizens who have Alzheimer’s disease and dementia need constant care, and it is best for them to receive that care in the familiar environment of their home. Their home is a comfortable and familiar environment and remaining there will help reduce confusion and stabilize their mood. Caring for a family member with dementia or Alzheimer’s is difficult because they require intensive and consistent care. Families with loved ones who suffer from these conditions may benefit from the help of a home care agency.
